How to get to Sausage Tree:
Hoedspruit Airport (approx. 40 mins drive from Sausage Tree) or
Phalaborwa Airport (approx. 50 mins drive from Sausage Tree)
or even KMIA (however a lot further away being 2 and a ½ to 3 hours drive, but is an International Airport).
We are able to arrange road transfers to and from these airports listed above for you.
Inter-lodge transfers can be arranged as well should you need to be collected from or dropped off at another lodge.
Vehicle rental and driving down would be the most economical way to get here and back to Johannesburg, however the drive is approx. 5 – 6 hours.
Alternatively there is a road shuttle service which departs daily from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, there is also a return transfer every day back to this Airport.
