A Day at Sausage Tree
Bush Camps

At Sausage Tree Bush Camps we are governed by sun rise and sun set and so our times change from winter to summer.

The times must be seen as guide-line only, as in Africa, time is not set to the minute but to the pace of the bush.

05h00
We wake you up gently to the sounds of the awakening bush around you.
05h30
We all meet on the deck to have a pre-departure coffee or fruit juice with rusks.
06h00
The morning drive or walk sets off with your guide at the helm in search of wildlife.
07h30
Coffee break in the bush.
09h30
Arrive back at camp.
10h00
Well deserved brunch is served overlooking the waterhole. There after visitors are free to have a traditional siesta, lounge by the pool or watch the waterhole for activity.
15h00
Guests meet on the deck for a late lunch.
16h00
We depart on the afternoon safari and stop for a traditional sun downer as the sun disappears behind the Mountains to the West.
19h30
Everyone meets for pre-dinner drinks around the fire.
20h00
We are seated for dinner by the fire under African stars.
